Having recently secured a significant round of capital to scale the company, along with reference accounts in a growing number of countries, Inrupt is seeking a Senior Business Development Lead to help organizations and government agencies in the EU to understand and realize the potential of Solid for their citizens and customers.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the EU Regional General Manager, this person will play a crucial role in establishing cornerstone accounts in the EU. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively prospect, identify, qualify and build a sales pipeline
  • Close business and navigate complex negotiations and organizations
  • Identify use cases and business value for organizations
  • Position Inrupt’s solutions to new customers and partners
  • Convey the vision and implications of Solid to stakeholders
  • Coordinate activities with your go-to-market team
  • Develop relationships with existing and new partners
  • Collaborate with partner organizations in the market to deliver solutions
  • Become a subject matter expert on Solid & remain up-to-date on industry news
  • You have a demonstrated ability to open new accounts and run a complex sales process You have a proven track record of overachievement and closing seven figure deals

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group discussions and presentations

  • You have the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
  • You have first class problem solving skills and apply them in a nimble fashion
  • You are familiar with on-premise & cloud native solutions, data management technologies and application development / systems integration projects
