About the role

As a Machine Learning Ops Engineer with a background in generative AI, you will be at the forefront of operationalizing cutting-edge generative AI models and systems to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions to Planful’s customers. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and infrastructure teams to deploy, scale, and monitor generative AI models in production environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in both machine learning operations and generative AI to contribute to the success of a high-growth software company and shape the future of AI-driven creativity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in machine learning operations, DevOps, or software engineering roles, with a focus on deploying and managing machine learning models in production.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or , with experience in building and deploying scalable software applications.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS, Azure, or GCP, and experience Experience with CDC techniques to build the data pipelines from relational databases to ML systems is a must.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration and deployment practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists, software developers, and infrastructure teams to deploy and operationalize generative AI models and systems in production environments.
• Design and implement scalable and reliable machine learning infrastructure for generative AI workflows, leveraging cloud services, containerization, and automation tools.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for generative AI models, ensuring efficient and repeatable deployment processes.
• Monitor model performance and health, implementing proactive alerting and monitoring solutions to detect anomalies and issues.
• Experience with setting up continuous learning and training of the models is desired.
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards for generative AI systems, ensuring data privacy and confidentiality.
• Document and communicate generative AI infrastructure and processes, providing technical guidance and support to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in both machine learning operations and generative AI, contributing to the technical growth and advancement of the team.
• Collaborate with product management and customer success teams to understand customer requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
