About the role:

Planful is looking for a Manager, Solution Consulting Operations to join our rapidly growing team immediately. You’ll be tasked with managing a team of content consultants as well as owning the full operational side of the Solutions Consulting organization.


  • Manage a team of Solutions Content Consultants, setting priorities, fostering career growth, hiring and bringing on new additions to the team
  • Create and manage a process for prioritising, designing, resourcing and delivering sales demo assets (standard use case demos, vertical/industry solutions, etc.)
  • Solicit knowledge and expertise for use in designing and architecting sales demo assets
  • Manage the sales content infrastructure and architecture (ie. demo tenants, cloning, backup, migration)
  • Create and manage a process for requesting, defining, resourcing and delivering POC’s
  • Manage POC delivery standards according to defined metrics
  • Work as a key member of the team supporting all sales, marketing and customer success activities to drive software sales
  • Work closely with Product Management and Product Marketing on translating go to market strategy into demonstratable solutions and communicating Solutions Consulting needs
  • Provide, and continue to develop, domain specific knowledge (vertical industry/use case, competitive product, finance and accounting, etc.)
  • Own all applicable sales support content, eg. Demo scripts, sales solution design documents
  • Own communication and knowledge transfer tools for the Solutions Consulting team
  • Own reporting all required performance metrics


  • Education background in Accounting or Business/Finance discipline and/or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years’ related work experience; preferably a proven track record with working with or at a Corporate Performance Management (CPM) vendor
  • Strong grasp of the types of financial applications that Planful Solutions implements i.e. budgeting, planning, forecasting, month end close, financial reporting, consolidations, FP&A, etc.;
  • Advanced Excel skills – ability to create complex formulas, macros and sophisticated formatting;
  • Ability to gather and understand the potential customer’s requirements, leveraging a consultative approach, and convert those requirements into an effective POC;
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of multiple industries’ budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes, such as manufacturing, services, banking, insurance, etc.;
  • Familiarity with WFP, CAPEX, Month End Close, Financial Consolidation and vertical performance management themes;
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-learner, with sense of initiative, and perseverance to deliver high quality work

Pay Transparency Statement
