About the Role
As Planful continues its rapid growth, we're seeking a dynamic and innovative People Operations leader to support our teams across North America, EMEA, and Australia. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, the Director of People Operations will be pivotal in shaping the company's culture, driving strategic people initiatives, and supporting our global teams. This is not a traditional “HR” job and this role is perfect for someone who is eager to grow their career, build and shape the culture, and wants to innovate people operations as our company continues to scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance on people-related matters, including talent acquisition, talent management, and employee engagement.
- Drive initiatives that promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and a positive organizational culture.
- Implement programs and initiatives that foster teamwork, collaboration, and a sense of purpose.
- Gather and present data to the department/team on a monthly basis.
- Oversee the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs while ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices.
- Collaborate with finance and executive leadership to develop and manage the compensation and benefits budget.
- Provide guidance and support in handling employee concerns, conflicts, and disciplinary actions, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Ensure efficient and effective HR operations, including HRIS management, data integrity, and reporting.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with legal and regulatory requirements and stay up to date with employment laws and regulations.
What You Bring to the Table
- Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations - a nice to have would be international experience.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align people strategies with organizational goals.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing HR teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive insights and decision-making.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is preferred.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt quickly to change, and drive results.
- A strong background in human resources, talent management, and employee engagement, who can drive a culture of excellence and foster an inclusive and high-performing work environment.
